Town Hall Event: What Makes American Great Again?

JABA is part of the Los Angeles Minority Bar Association coalition presenting a town hall discussion on “What Makes America Great Again” on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Loyola Law School at 919 Albany St., Los Angeles CA 90015.

The event will be moderated by former California State Bar President, Luis J. Rodriguez and will feature panelists Hector Villagra from the ACLU, Laboni Hoq, Litigation Director for Asian Americans Advancing Justice – LA, JABA legend, Mia Yamamoto, and Senate President Pro Tempore Kevin de Leon. The panelists will focus on discussing the legality of a Muslim registry as proposed by the Trump administration, drawing parallels to the Japanese Interment camps, and discussing action steps to help various minority groups.
